Yacht Port of Colonia

The Yacht Port, also known as the Old Port of Colonia, is located on the Río de la Plata river. It offers docks and swinging moorings for berthing boats.

Most of the regattas that take place on the river arrive at this port.

Colonia is a historic city founded by the Portuguese in 1680. Today it retains its architectural beauty and period spirit intact. The magic of walking through the cobblestone streets, colorful with flowers and adorned with lanterns, of its historic center, the “Barrio Sur”, a World Heritage Site since 1995, is incomparable.
